JPMA's 'EBT-Assist' Prescription Verification

JPMA's EBT-Assist system provides WIC shopper's with the ability to verify their WIC prescription where it counts - right in the store - and before they reach check-out.

WIC customers can use a EBT-Assist kiosk located in the Service Desk or anywhere in the store to read the WIC prescription from their card and print an itemized list of the quantities and unit sizes all the products that are available to them.

If a customer is unsure if an item they wish to purchase matches the description printed on the receipt, they can scan the barcode on the receipt, then the item to verify the eligibility of the item. The customer can then view nutritional information, ingredients lists and other information about the item to ensure they making smart purchases for their family.

The EBT-Assist Program Provides:

• One or more kiosks located in the Service Desk area and in decision-making points throughout the store
• May be stand-beside with your current PoS system, or fully integrated with PoS Designer
• Updates the APL nightly (with network connection)
• Advertising opportunities for retailer
