Flipcharts Improve Productivity

It is said that a PICTURE is worth a thousand words, and that's why we added FLIPCHARTS to our PoS Designer software. Electronic flipcharts will replace all those nasty paper charts stuck around your check stands. Flipcharts will help your cashier with produce recognition for those hard to identify produce items, assuring you that the proper price is being charged. They also increase productivity when it comes to these seldom sold items that are not easily recognized or those hard to scan items.

You may define your own hierarchy of groups and items, complete with pictures, giving the cashiers the ability to drill down to find the exact item to ring up. This feature is useful in any vertical market.

In designing this feature we embraced both ASP web technology, and the ability to 'embed' a web browser into an application. Through the web server the database is queried at the server and displayed at the PoS. We even show you the current file price of the item!

This feature lends itself well to touch-screen environments, but we've taken great care to make sure it works via a retail keyboard with as few keystrokes as possible.
