JPMA - Retail Software Solutions JPMA is a worldwide supplier of Point-of-Sale (POS) and Frequency software to the retail industry. We are a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider and our POS software runs on Microsoft Windows operating systems. More than 123,000 lanes operate JPMA designed PoS software in 40 countries and in twenty languages around the world.

Our PoS Designer software is installed in small business 2 lane shops as well as full enterprise 220 lane Hypermarkets and numerous configurations in between. Our POS software supports virtually any retailing segment and a long list of open PoS hardware platforms. We believe we have created the most flexible, customizable POS software of the planet.

The high degree of parameterization permits retailers to, literally, create their own PoS system. Standard package offerings are distributed through authorized distributors in many countries. Several major and well known vendors distribute our products internationally.

JPMA was founded in 1985 by James P. Magee. The company mission was, and is, to maximize the potential of "open systems" for retailers - a very ambitious objective in 1985. JPMA was among the first suppliers to support multiple hardware environments with a single software offering.

We are keenly sensitive to the desire of retailers for independence in the selection of 'front end' solutions. We believe that a retailer's ability to sustain a single and dynamic software solution across rapidly changing hardware environments is crucial to the global retail industry.
